ilogic - conveyor belt

I've been studying inventor ilogics (2017) just over a week.
I ask advice for how to manage a set for the quick creation of a conveyor belt.

with the sizing I have no problems in all parts, but I do not find a method both to bind the parts and to create them in sequence, I explain better.

the tape has an interasse x. this interasse must be divided for the maximum of the modules from 3000 mm (composed by several parts) with which I can cover the greater length of the interasse and then with non-standard modules.

I start from the first point that is the division and positioning of these n° modules from 3000 that I can not manage automatically.
I tried to create functions that go to calculate the number of modules but then I don't find how to place them in the sequence axieme without performing a pattern, which would go to bind the change on the individual modules.

for now I am trying to hold one of the two tape heads to the original planes of the axieme, and then move with the rest of the modules in x direction.

what I would try to do (which is perhaps what you indicate in your last sentence) is to bind all the forms compared to the origin: or the first in position (0,0,0), the second in pos. (3000,0,0) and so on.

ilogic commands (those you see on the left to understand us) do not allow you all this freedom. to solve is a little more complex. You have to do the matings by code using the inventor bees whose instructions here are.It is not very simple if you are not practical. for customers we have created a system that draws the flexlink tapes using a single sketch and then applies curves, straight sections and makes the couplings.
do you want to make constructive designs or do you only need a model for a representation?
If the answer is the second I recommend you avoid the assemblies and do everything in one part, it is very much easier.

Hello thanks for the answer. I have no idea what they are. I don't have to make executives. Since of strip models, at least in the main parts, that we have 4, I wanted to simplify at least 50% of the work in the parts simply to stretch and resize in some small part. (do this from ilogic in the same part). However, the generation of the axieme already dimensioned based on parameters would simplify and speed the work.

edit: I worked with inventor 2017 first and left the pattern command because you couldn't separate a single element to change it. we passed to 2020 recently and known that they added this possibility again. the project in the ilogic tape I left it a bit for urgent orders. I think when I take him back, that's the way, with a few little tricks.

I'm telling you, you can do all this. using ilogic, as I told you, you have little freedom. with bees (application programming interface) do what you want, consider that everything you do when drawings call bees, create a sketch, extrusion etc.
If you do not want to use these systems (which are more complex) you can also draw using reference designs and then all components will follow this reference.
inventor does very well these things.
