image jpg or pgn to add in a format

I would like to add a new logo (jpg or png image) in the folder of each format (formato.frm).
At the time of importation, a 2d shape appears to me that everything knows except image. . .
I would like to know first of all if I am doing the correct procedure
object--> creates from file --> browse folder --> choose file --> ok

I apologize for the delay, I just made a test actually the .bmp is a format that he likes... the only problem I'm finding is the size, I should put it in a well defined area and I can't resize it without losing the font characteristics, I should find a converter in millimeter by jpg/png in bmp ...if esite

Forgive me for reopening the discussion, I saved all the necessary formats with the image I needed importing the .bmp etc.
I noticed that at the recovery of the format the image is not present (including objects in the model tree but is not visible)

normally use insert → object → creates new → paint image, and after that it opened ms paint take off the image, but I am not sure that it maintains the desired size.

ps. with windows 11 have “rottamato” ms paint and I have not yet found the alternative mentioned above if not: insert → object → creates from file.

probably depends on the positioning of the image, it must reside in the same directory of the format (which in turn is linked to the config.pro)

regarding the size I solved with gimp making various exports I managed to find a suitable size of the bmp I needed.
