Hello everyone, I have an import problem\solidification of a .step file (native solidworks).
the imported model results of surfaces, (almost all of purple colour, some white and no yellow v.jpg attached) and cannot solidify, in fact selecting the feature the solidification command is not active, because the superphiles in theory should be opened.
But now even by changing the definition of the imported feature and entering the import data doctor I can come out of it. .
Does anyone have any plans to give me? , I remember that in the ver. 2001 there was a command I sempra zip-gas that solved in good percentage the open surfaces.
in wf4.0 where is this command?

help me ..allego .prt file in object.
Thank you.
d.

it would serve the file, with an image it is difficult to understand where the problem is.

the image file is attached ...can't see?, ...I made the screen image x highlight also the pro|e menu of the import date doctor..
the surfaces are almost all magenta, except some that are white; but from what is the yellow color surfaces that generate problems and require adjustments to close them (trim, extensions ...) but in this case I do not see it, and therefore I do not understand why it does not solidify!
If you give me your email in pvt tomorrow I can send you the .jpg or even the .prt model as I imported it.

Dancan, I answered you with a private message. the procedure for managing imported surfaces and the methodology for closing this file type has changed a lot compared to the previous versions of proe. It is not very simple to explain things here in the forum.
