import file properties in sw2017

Good morning to all, I need to import files from creo to sw2017.
each creo file has properties such as code description material etc.
I wanted to know if there is a way to import this information in sw, maybe even in block.

you should be able to import the material by popping in the mask that appears at the opening of the creo file. I have no idea

solidworks does not matter native direct create.
all generic step formats, iges etc are only geometry. If you could see if you can pass a parasolid but I don't think you'll be able to pass properties and things like that.
