import file step

I happen that when I open a set in step file, I get displayed as a set of surfaces. I tried on the internet how to solve but without success. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Hi.
often happens to me too, and so often I solve it like this:
- amount the step after activating 3d interconnect
- except in parasolid format (.x_t)
- deactive 3d interconnect
- amount parasolid and then save the file as usual
