Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum. I hope I don't look like this:

This is my problem. I have a list of x,y,z coordinates of points on excel and I want to draw them by macro on autocad and then connect them via a line. for me it is also enough, at least for now, to draw only points without connecting them through the line, which I would do by hand later.

Can you help me?
Thank you so much!

Hello, I have a problem with the jeffery sanders program!.
autocad tells me command unknown "point". press f1 for driving, and it tells me so many times how many points I want to import. Where am I wrong?
Thank you.

Try this one I changed.
I don't have time to try it. the original was only for the English version. I changed some commands by putting the underscore in order to make it okay for the Italian one.
I may have jumped a lot in a hurry. See a little...

Thank you.. it works perfectly!
I tried, too, and I honestly don't understand why my change didn't work well since it seemed identical to me. . I may have missed some "_points" :)

One more thing.. It also gave me problems with importing files.. at the time of reading closed the window and I was reported an error in the text bar of the cad... I've solved it. copying the text file inside word, and then copying it back into the same .txt that I then saved it all works properly. Since with other test text files written by me it worked properly, it was necessarily a problem of that text file, although I did not understand what problem :)

Thanks again

Hello everyone I am new,I have the same problem for the coordinates, that is I have a set of coordinates in table on excel and I would like to put them on autocad .I tried with the jeffery sanders program but I can not understand where actually they have to be copied the 3 files,I tried to copy them on the main directory of autocad, but then if I go on the program and type"importxyz" it doesn't work.if someone best I can give me to understand

hi, I tried the modified file but it doesn't work to me either:/ .. use autocad 2010! the error message is the usual: unknown command "point" . Does anyone know how I can solve the problem? or intervene on the lsp file? Thank you!

"restate" on the 2010 Italian version. It works perfectly.
a doubt arises: What command do you type?

hi planner road, I simply forgot to load the lsp again after changing the script! Now it works well and I could save so much time in drawing the diagrams of the moment obtained with sap2000! Thank you!

hi I tried to use the file but when I type the comand importxyz tells me "the importxyz.dcl file could not be found" but I don't understand what it means. Can you please help me? thanks in advance

missing the file of the dialog box, downloadable from one of the links of plannerroad at the beginning of the discussion.
I attach it to you, put it in a folder read from the autocad path.

Thank you so much now it works! I have another question though, I cannot understand how the coordinates are placed in excel, i.e. in what columns or rows so that you read them. Thank you very much
