Good morning, everyone.
I have a problem with importing revit files.
long ago I asked for help with how to import files from tekla and the solution I found through revit.
to make it short the passage is this (serve to understand my current problem):
tekla file -> revit -> conversion to *.sat -> inventor -> import sat files -> saved as multibody part
But now I find myself with another problem... .
when the amount in inventor (verione 2019) I find that the parts are double overlaps.
This does not create problems with graphics as the parts that amount only use them as references, but it gives me problems with weights that obviously are double.
I usually set the parts with a custom material that has half the steel density and everything came back.
Now this makes me other problems. .
I wanted to know if there is a way to select the components that I don't care about and delete them.
luck is that in the tree the double parts are one under the other.
in practice the even numbered parts are a structure and those odd the double overlaps.
the numbering puts it automatically.
now the final domandona... Is there a possibility to realize an automatism that selects the useless parts (even or odd) so that it can erase them?
These are structures with thousands of parts, impossible to do manually. ...
