I have to redesign details made with autocad in pro-e.
are laser cut sheets with complex profiles (built with arc tangences).
Given the complexity of the profiles, my idea was to import them into pro-e and create protusions on them.
at the time of creation, however, the errors on the tangences and on the points of contact between the arches are many and how much you system the sketch at the end the pro-e tells me that it can not create the feature.
Do you have any ideas to overcome this problem?
Can anyone suggest me other ways or systems?

verified... by wf4 is a boys' game, because inside the sketch there is the diagnostic that indicates where it is open and turns you into shadowed the loops closed correctly.
with wf3 the method is ancient

I remember this news when I tried the wf4.very good.
together with other news...but unfortunately for now we have difficulty to leave 3 for possible communication problems with customers.
cmq changing relative accuracy seems to work pretty well...some points are critical (the pro-and me mark them with the red circle) but the feature is made to me.
changing accuracy can I have some sort of problem related to other files?

I would import curves like feature and not sketch and do a "use edge" in the scketch without copying the rachesters I would add sucessively.
red circles are in fact errors of non tangency.

insert > shared data from file .... But it does with dxf and not with dwg, so you must first convert dwg to dxf.

improved but not solved completely.in some files I am prevented from doing the feature.
to the limit I will simplify the profile a bit.

the program is camtasia studio and unfortunately it is not open source (although it does not cost a sproposito).
