improved or solid edge

Good morning.
with a friend we're considering opening a design studio, I've always used solid edge for modeling 3d while he uses both solid edge and inventor.
of course he aims to purchase inventor because the cost is more affordable than the solid edge license.
I tried to use it but I saw that it is much more laborious than solid edge even in creating the simplest things.
is it better inventor or solid edge?

You must consider that the subscription license cannot stop it ( crisis, economic difficulties etc.) what you can do with a perpetual.
personally I find more practical solid edge
