Hello, if I understood the problem well (it was cut a component compared to a plan removing the cut portion) you have to:
- change the component or open it in a separate window
- create the necessary working plan for cutting
- use the "division" command by selecting the second option (which divides the solid by eliminating a part)

hello if I understand what you need you could get it by making a simplified component of the axieme and then cut it or split it.

or, together, "enter" in the part you want to cut and create a plan bound to external geometry (I don't remember if you can directly bind or you have to bypass the problem maybe creating a sketch in the part)... then use the plan for cutting.
