independent design view

Does anyone know how to make a table view independent from the model?
I need to insert a mounting pattern... but I don't want to keep the table connection to the model.

ok eventually I did so, exported to dwg and reimported as sketch.
I thought there was a system planned by inventor to make a view like a sketch by throwing it off the model permanently.

you can create a view and block it..I'd create a new view, active, remove visibility to what you don't need, set the 3d rotation as you need and then block the view (right key and click on block)
