independent mirror part

Bye to all,
I would like to know the procedure to create a mirrored part independent of that of origin.
in practice I have a machine consisting of many pieces right and left;(example: "mounting dx" and "mounting sx") and to make them more quickly I would like to mirror them but make them independent from each other.
I currently make model-speculare but the piece that you create is dependent on that of origin....how can I solve?
Thank you very much.

on the mirrored piece, in the browser select the original ref and with the dx key " interrupt link ... "

Forgive me, but I can't do it... I'll tell you what I'm doing so maybe you can figure out where I'm wrong:

1)I mirror the piece, compared to a plan, selecting in the model-speculating menu the options "solid species" and check the "original removals" box.
2)Save with a name other than that of the piece of origin
3)I open the new file....and here I can't get out of the original.

I don't understand either.
So, you're in part.
use the mirror command with solid new option and remove the original.
save the file with another name, and I think I understand you do it with: "Save copy by name".
And what do you mean you can't get rid of the original?
with these operations you have created a solid mirrored and completely independent from the original.
the original file still remains; but there is no connection between the two...

ok, but I don't understand why in the nova part (that mirrored part) if they select the work in the browser they "light" me those of origin, in practice it is as if the starting solid was still in front but only invisible....it is a little difficult to explain. Also in the new part the mirror processing appears while I would like this processing not to be displayed.

Let's see if I can explain myself more clearly. . .

make a derivative part, mirroring your reference piece.
what you did is a mirroring process, not a particular new symmetric to the original.

if I didn't get the problem wrong:
by1 create part1_mir
- open part1_mir
- in the browser of the workings button dx on part1
- stop (or stop) link

make a derivative part, mirroring your reference piece.

ok, with a derivative part I made a step forward but it is not yet what I wanted to get: in the photo you notice that I in the derived part I do not have the possibility to select the individual machining(e.g. changing depth of holes, length of bevels, etc...)
I would like the part I create to appear, even in the structure of the browser of the works, completely identical to that of origin.
I honestly don't know if that's possible, but no, I don't want you to waste time on a problem that can't be solved.
At most I draw all the double pieces... but I lose a life of time... .

You look like my boss! It's an equal machine, only longer, less high, double wide... Just change a design, right?

I don't know if you can do what you ask, but sometimes changing approach solves, for example: the bottom hole on the right piece disturbs on the left? or the bevel? Perhaps with an extra hole the piece becomes symmetrical, and instead of drawing a dx+sx piece more quickly in drawing one. I know that what I say can be trivial, but sometimes repeat it does not spoil.. .
again, when you draw the original part you can already predict that you will have to make a symmetric, and model it by spending a few more minutes so that the subsequent modifications to "specchiarla" can be quick.. .

You can't do it, maybe between three rel.

I try to use little mirrored pieces, to simplify the recovery of the harvests at the table.
it is much faster to make a new piece by changing it where the symmetry is created that requote it completely in the table.
However, each case must be individually evaluated.

Bye.

I use mirrored parts if I need to change the original.:finger:
I don't understand what bothers you, the fact that you see mirroring in your browser... maybe you have a supervision and don't want you to see that you took a shortcut to create parts?

I sincerely regret that you see the mirroring in the browser, but at the bottom I don't even know exactly if this involves limitations...so for now it's just a visual question.
I use the mirrored parts because sometimes with certain complex details, especially if they are carpenters, I thought to save time mirroring them, perhaps it is enough that I become faster and solve the problem.
thanks cmq to all for the help you gave me.
