Good morning.
I am a new enrollment and I have little knowledge of solidworks so I can not contribute with suggestions or experiences matured, but I am very grateful for any answer can be helpful to take a step forward in the knowledge of the tool I use in my work.
I would have a question ... I think simple, but for me complex.
use solidworks 2008 sp4.0 to create design objects and technical parts.
I'm collaborating on designing some profiles.
I would like to check the physical characteristics of one of these thanks to the "module of inertia" tool I heard about, but I can't find a trace in the online guide.
Can someone give me directions?
exists, but is not included in the version I use?

if it is a solid go into mass-produced instruments (mass inertia), if it is a section selections and go into instruments-> section properties.
citing the module I think you are looking for the module of the section, solidworks does not give but from the inertia and position of the center of mass inertia with which you can extrapolate the w.
