...... I am heading towards rhino maybe, as you recommended, supporting me with autocad for the table.
Tell me something, rhino and autocad interface well?
Does rhino work in dwg? If you don't work in dwg, do you read it?
would I have difficulty importing/exposing from one to another programme (2d and 3d) ?
paky, for a design activity aimed at creating workable and measurable nurb surfaces of individual objects, I think rhino is a great choice, given the quality / price ratio.
not always what costs little is brass, and not always what costs so much is gold.

If your business develops, you'll always be able to move to a higher-end cad with cause knowledge and without having spent a fortune.

ps : reads and writes the dwg format, oltra to one thirty other formats

Come on, paky, I'm gonna beat this, and we're gonna have a good night.
then you let us know how much you put us to do the plan of the living room or the bathroom and put it on the table and pass all the data to whom it has to do.
Then I'll let you know how much it takes with other systems.

Yes, I definitely take rhino ................... even if I do not have to do the "design" of the bathroom or the living room but I will have to develop a collection of objects for the year 2012 that, if they will have positive evaluation, will be realized.

thank you all for the advice !!!!!!!!! !

You see, that's enough.
It is enough to say what a person wants to hear.
no matter what the wrong choice is.

Would you take all those who are not interested in pro_e???? ;-)
witty , in truth I said that having to spend little spaceclaim.
at least you have a table attached to the 3d model and far superior.

Good idea. rhino has an excellent interface to autodesk programs.
My previous intervention which has raised some discontent in pro-and supporters did not actually consider the table priority. I apologize but I continue to misunderstand the meaning of "design" and limit myself to interpret the meaning of the object's "concept".
the potential of rhino in relation to the price are significant and allow a creative to be able to express themselves completely. Obviously if we talk about productivity in terms of "series" or bidirectional table, families of products etc. rhino does not fit.

hi marco, when I supported pro/e is because the user has explicitly placed the doubt between the choice of rhino or pro/e.
when it comes to design in Italy it is often confusing, because in the Anglo-Saxon language the term is often used also for product engineering.
if by design we mean the concept of an object (and only that), then the rhino solution can go well.
If instead we proceed to the industrialization produced and we go down in detail until the definition of particulars in sheet, distinct of the components, put in the table detailed, definition of the holes (important in the furnishing sector) then I prefer a hybrid modeler that has these functions much better defined and editable.
that then be spaceclaim, solidworks, solidedge or creo becomes a less important matter.
