paky, for a design activity aimed at creating workable and measurable nurb surfaces of individual objects, I think rhino is a great choice, given the quality / price ratio....... I am heading towards rhino maybe, as you recommended, supporting me with autocad for the table.
Tell me something, rhino and autocad interface well?
Does rhino work in dwg? If you don't work in dwg, do you read it?
would I have difficulty importing/exposing from one to another programme (2d and 3d) ?
not always what costs little is brass, and not always what costs so much is gold.
If your business develops, you'll always be able to move to a higher-end cad with cause knowledge and without having spent a fortune.
ps : reads and writes the dwg format, oltra to one thirty other formats
