hello to everyone, I wanted to ask for some information about this program. I have seen that it makes amazing renderings and I would be interested in rendering apartments
http://www.maxon.net/it/gallery/architecture.html My question is:
- is an advanced rendering program that works with a base to develop or can start from scratch in the creation of the apartment?

i.e., I have to upload a bundle project with revit or can I also wax in 4d cinema walls, floors etc.? and if yes libraries are abundant as elements or are very poor and need additional addon?

-You can also upload dwg files or even 3d max study or only work with its exclusive extensions?

Thank you.

the images posted are an obvious allodole mirror. not that you can not get similar results but you have to eat of dry pasta! . .however, we continue

You can obviously start from scratch, but you won't have the precision of a cad (not that you need... )

probably matters dxf, dwg and 3ds, but I doubt it digests fbx. my personal and unshared advice: if you use revit for design/modeling entrusted to 3ds max design. the results are analogous but with 3ds at least you can pass model, lights, camera from revit with only one command. Moreover the library of materials is shared, which means not having to reassign all the materials from the top!

-you can create everything in 4d cinema
-not has libraries like revit, walls, etc, but in the architect version there are a series of furniture elements and other. there are also a couple of free plugins that create roofs and other things.
-you can safely import dwg/dxf 3ds files etc.

All engines make make it amazing, just know how to use them. :

if you want to take a look at what you can do with 3ds look at the gallery of the excellent dionissios

yes but with 3dstudio max you have to create all modelland also the single door you do not have bookcases.

I remember talking to a fair at the stand of the autodesk told me that in 3d studio max you have to model everything. with revit you have at least the starting libraries.
If I have to be modeling the couch or anything, I don't finish anymore.

Here you come where I want to get here! ! !

I don't know a pipe, and I'm trying to inform myself!

I am using the demo version of revit because it seemed to me that it could approach the qualitative level of the example I showed.

but in the meantime I am trying to figure out which program can approach that level of quality and at the same time without having to model polygon for polygon! !

Thank you for the answers you gave me.

In the meantime, from what I understand, I think that revit is within my reach as it has bookstores.
those of autodesk advised me to fae the project with revit and then make the rendering with 3dstudio max. Are there any qualitative and visual differences?

Thank you

but you for bookcases that you make, a bim parametric sw, with possibility to make stairs, roofs, windows etc, in short a normal building, or furniture elements? What kind of work do you do?
Then I repeat all the engines to make have a very high level, at least the most known, I recommend you to start from the simplest, and why not, even the least expensive, the opposite of 3d studio. . : )

Unfortunately, the software that does what you think automatically is still not invented:wink:

if you have to make furniture.. or find it ready (evermotion, turbosquid...) or you have to model it either you use archicad, revit, max, maya, rhino, sketchup or other
