Good morning to all,
I would like to have information about 3d printers with polyjet and fdm technology.
I am oriented to stratasys, but I also value other brands, of course high level.
my need is to make functional prototypes, but they also have a good finish, so I thought the polyjet technology of objet printers is the one best suited to my needs.
from what I understood the prototypes in abs obtained with fdm technology are more resistant, but they have a finish that has porosity and discontinuity, which does not fit my needs since I would also need a good precision (in the order of 0.1 mm).
the pieces we produce (for which we need prototypes) are mostly printed in polypropylene (some in abs).
I accept opinions and advice from you experts, to better evaluate the purchase.
last question: do 3d scanners (high-level) be combined with printers?
Thank you.
