injection molding mold with solidworks

Hello everyone,

for an examination we have to choose a plastic piece made with injection molding and make with solidworks both the piece itself and the mold.
for the moment the mold is still devoid of all the distribution channels of the polymer, but I wanted to know if at least the separation surface between the fixed semi-stampo and the mobile semi-stampo is right.

I attached a .rar file that contains the solidworks files of the piece and the mold and I wanted to know if it could fit (I used solidworks 2011)

Hi.
in the possible
you could attach a technical table in 2d pdf
or at least jpeg
you would give a chance to those who do not use or not at home solidwork to be able to respond
Thank you very much

I had put the solidworks model in such a way that you can see everything in detail, I still try to put jpg images hoping that something will be understood

I attached the same image by adding information about the size you wanted.

on the real piece the prints of the extractors are on the lower surface, then on the opposite one compared to the one seen in the figure.

my question above all is the following: the two semi-stamps are separated from the separation plane; In this case however, as you see from the pictures where there is the mold, the separation plan that came out of solidworks is not "plan" but has a step-shaped shape at the location of the piece, I wanted to know whether this is possible or if I have to make it flat

ciaofrom what you see is good
from the size you posted
I think you have to progress a mold with two prints
this to allow you to have the possibility to create a casting channel
central that inserts the material on the sides of the two prints
I'll give you an example
big way a portastamp 196x196
where you can easily insert the two prints
at the limit you can use a 246x196 in case you have in bulk prob for the cooling circuit
even if everything is to be compared with a first draft of a drawing even in 2d
Thank you very much
