insert a ball bearing in a total

Hello.
as suggested by my university teacher I tried to download from the site www.skf.com 3d model of a ball bearing to be inserted in my overall. I downloaded the file in step format, but when the amount in casket, it appears as new part, but physically I can't view it.
How can I fix this?

check file size, it could be empty for bad import

check whether in the tree the solid is either present or is empty or is hidden

controls not having set the solid / geometric group as visible only the "current"

change import format (e.g. iges)

change imported part

First of all, thank you for the answer.
the solid was present in the tree, but I did not see it. the file was 39kb so not empty, while I did not understand what it means in the third point. Anyway, any part I imported in step didn't display it. I tried to import the bearing into iges, as suggested, and I view it by opening it alone, but importing it into the axieme tells me that the extension is not valid

after the opening (be converted) save it as a catpart and then you will import it.
