insert block 2d

I have a problem.. I've been through a catdrawing that contains 2d blocks (I don't know if they're called as a cat). I should put them in my new file, but when I make copy/paste it gives me error... Does anyone know if you can make 2d blocks in the casket? and how?

no, in the file they gave me there are symbols that look like autocad blocks, I saw that they are called 2d components... but I can't copy them from one table to another.. .

you can do, they are simply 2d symbols that insert or create in a .catdrawing and then save the .catdrawing as .catcalaog.
