dear specialists cad,

I find myself in the need to write "didascalie", in my designs developed with autocad of the autodesk rel. 2009, which include the need to write mm4 , cm4, dc4 , m4 regarding moments of surface inertia and I do not find a solution.
I am aware of " m\u+00b2 " for m2 or " m\u+00b3 " for m3 , but I did not find a command of the type " m\u+b4 " to correctly represent m4 .

Could any of you please suggest a good solution?

Thank you all and wish a happy Valentine,

Jr.

Specifically it is written text on single line and I am interested in the exponent (i.e. apex) 4.

I invite you to read my request for help carefully, in order to understand exactly what is required. Thank you.

Jr.

command: txt2mtxtand convert them to testom
I am sorry but I am not able to use with profit the suggestion received.

on my design (autocad 2009 of autodesk) I have to write on a single line of text:

(10) - surface inertia of the actual area at the height of the tip [x] - expressed in (m4).

of course the value 4 is exponent 4 (i.e. apex).

thank you if I can receive the resolution of my specific writing (since I completely ignore the subject).

I renew the wish of happy san valentino,

Jr.

pippo, lyrics in autocad [comando TESTO] the numbers 0, 1, 2 and 3 (see table of the unicode characters).

multiline text [comando TESTOM], also single line, they can have all the alphanumeric characters you want.

the example in the link reported by tir in his first post refers to the latter case.

I hoped for a help given to a humble ignorant who admitted to it! But I see that you dare to give answers addressed to experts of the specific subject to write 4 as an exponential index.
if some volenteroso is available to really give me an effective "resolutive" hand giving direct indications on how to act I thank very much but please avoid me to study things that I do not understand.

with due respect,

Jr.

Unfortunately it is not a joke (for me) since I wanted to write something correct!
Unfortunately, I feel compelled to give up, bypassing the obstacle from me not to solve even thanks to your help.

I apologize for the undue interference and trouble.

I renew my wishes so that you may spend a happy san valentino,

Jr.

To pippo, listen, I'm used to speaking direct and without frills and then we start from the beginning:

Can you explain the difference between "ape" and "exponent"?

No.
negative
on a text line (not mtext) you can't do it
not having the appropriate unique character, you are not allowed to do so
or steps to mtext or nothing

I was hoping for a help given to a humble ignorant who admitted to it! But I see that you are stubborn to give answers addressed to connoisseurs of the topic to write 4 as an exponential index.

pippo, since you claim to have developed designs with autocad, I would like to know if you feel that for the use of text and textm commands you must be "connoisseurs of the topic".also admitting that you have always and only used text, do you not think of pressing f1 and reading something on testom?

If you had tried, you would have noticed that you could write the text on multiple lines, but you could still write also on one.

it is not possible to make that apex with text, ma solo con testom, then type:

- lyrics
- write in the editor the text that interests you or paste it
- insert a ^ (circumflect accent) after digit 4 you want to "picize"
- highlights 4^ and click on the "cleaning" button
349.webpn.b.: text e mtext for the inglese version.

ossequi.

mha.. .
at some point I thought he had specific "problems" for which he is "obligated" to use text
I don't know, maybe the pdm has to recognize certain strings and can't do it if in mtext...

fact is that in text cannot do what it requires

You are such a pack of insects!
pippo has prostrated and humiliated beyond every measure, and you have not taken the trouble to read his simple request for help!
Let's write this line of text with apex 4.

@pippo
distinct greetings, bow to the lady and deferent homage to the pargols.

@all the others
But is it or is it?

I thank the senior user gp,because senior connoisseur of a specific subject, while I
not being I can incur in "disadventure" which, however, help me grow.
on my part, I must emphasize that I have proven to be senior in the human and civic aspect.

I'm like a 20-year-old.

Jr.

I thank the senior user gp,....
I am 73 years old...
Jr.
I understand that the forum individuals the senior user from the junior from the number of interventions. . .
I understand less who at 73 years is called jr.

If I pee, it's "jr." ... senior pippo is he?

dear juseppe mauro,I'll tell you in 2034, so you can "field" until then and I won't fail to please you.

very nicely,

pippo jr. (if you prefer, the young man)

dear juseppe mauro,I will tell you in 2034
But... but as in 2034? by the end of this year we expect the end of the world and you give me at least in 22 years?
make sure you "field" until then and I won't fail to please you.
statistically I have good hopes to be present at the date.. But you're not gonna throw me up?

with just as much sympathy:
Giuseppe
