Hello, I modeled a toothed wheel with straight teeth. I need, at this point, to import the piece into ansys. said this, I need, to get a correct fem analysis, to apply the ingrain force on a surface that is only a part of the tooth flank and not all the tooth. I had thought to put on the side of the tooth two smooth edges so that ansys "see" the tooth as divided into several faces. In practice I would need to insert two lines like the red ones in figure (the lines I put them with paint, so they are randomly made, but still makes the idea... )
