insert the file name into an attribute

Hi, I wanted to know if you know how to put to the content of a text of an attribute directly the name of the file. I better explain, if I have a test file.dwg and in my design I have a cartile where I have attributes, I would automatically put the file name into the attribute describing the file name. I hope I've been clear.

in the attribute definition window, attribute pane -> default click on the data field entry box and then select "filename", you can choose from: only name - only path - path and file name

3. click on change
4. in the attribute tab there is a default field
5. right click on the default field
6. appears insert data field
7. opens a window where you can choose author, date,etc. and also file name

very clear, but to me when I click on default does not appear "insert data field" .
the options I have are: cancel, paste,order read from dx to sx, shows unique control characters, enter unique control characters.

What version of autocad do you have? The lt?

I don't think it's lt, I guess if it were, it would also be written in the window title bar.

on autocad 2008 appears enter data field. In fact, how does plannerroad say that version you use?

autocad 2004 has no command _field
was introduced in 2005.

the files I have to deliver must have format cad2000, so for me no solution.

I have to insert it manually in each file. or does anyone know an alternative?
