inserting external db Fields

I must insert in an inventor design (document that then serves suppliers) a field coming from a database sql server. according to you can create connection between the base date and text field present in cartiglio?

I would say yes, but I think you can only do it through a macro/add-in doing a search in your db and then update the properties of the table. casino is data extraction more than update. . .
maybe even ilogic can do it, but I don't use it and I can't tell you.
