inserting parameters

Hello everyone,

I am a wf4 proe user and I have a reconfiguration problem of some already shaped parts.
I practically created several parts with the start-part I usually use and at the end of the project the client asked me to deliver the models with the parameters and layers of its start-parts. now having the start-parts of the customer, can you insert its parameters and its layers in my parts? I can export the parameters to a csv or txt file, but I can't get them back in my part.

for parameters there are no problems, see this discussion:http://www.cad3d.it/forum1/showthread.php?t=30791&highlight=modelfor layers I don't know, hopefully in helping others. otherwise you can always make a macro.

I thank you for the tip, but to be honest I didn't use much... with mdelcheck I can only see any errors on the parts and all the information related to the object, but I can't insert the new parameters.
I'm not doing it.

with modelcheck you can do, even if it is not simple, below I allego the first seen of online help related to this topic

Automatic batch correctionsIn batch mode the following automatic corrections are performed:
● Adds elements to the level
● Adds reports and comments
● Change the level display status.
● creates levels.
● eliminates extra levels.
● create parameters (if the relative values are known).
● eliminates extra parameters.
● completely regenerates the model from the first feature and reports any problems.
● Move elements between levels.
● designate parameters for pdm tools.
● rename references.
● rename levels.
● Save the model.

These corrections are performed in batch mode and when modelcheck is performed through distributed pro/batch. modelcheck automatically controls a second time a correct model to update reports and save the model.
note
if modelcheck is executed in batch mode, a pro/engineer license is required as models must be loaded in pro/engineer.

Thank you for the help you tried to give me, but I don't chew the modelcheck way at all. However, I solved with custom macros that should solve the problem for all my parts.

...in my opinion it is not exactly so, unless you have few parts to handle, otherwise the solution is that suggested by dani.
