Good morning.
a customer has passed us a product of about 900 pcs, mounted all at the same level, therefore without a tree structure at levels.
My problem arises when I have to make some considerations on some coupled parts.
I wondered (use catia from less than a month and are self-taught) if there is a command to isolate groups of components (type island of solidworks).
This function would make it very easy for me to work.

better explain what you mean to isolate. as you say it seems yours is not a cat product but it would look like a set shaped in a single part.

If so you have to copy the single body into other catparts and then group them into a catproduct.

otherwise the only thing that groups the parts into a set is the constraints for which you just need to create assemblies within your general set and with the copy or size/paste you can move the part.
When you're dealing with catia, take into account that the product environment is an environment where you assemble parts and you don't build any kind of geometry.
Other cad instead consider the environment of together, the same where the part develops, and in the second time you can then as you say you isolate the parts (or make them external components).

Maybe I explained badly.
It's a product whose tree consists of 900 pieces, so if you want to isolate two components to make considerations I have to hide the remaining.
cmq I solved by creating sub product in which I inserted the components to be evaluated-
