interaction with other software for verification and detailing

Hi.

are to ask for clarification on the general functioning of the software inventor structure, with particular reference to the metal carpentry. I press that I do not use this software, but I am interested in a next evaluation. You will want to forgive me if I “go to tentons”.

as far as I have understood, with revit structure, it is possible to realize elaborate structures (mounting and transverse), although it is not possible to detail the knots of the various incastris. or indicate how many bolts that type of plates use.
the model is then exportable in structural detailing (sd) for the realization of the executives of detail and in robots for the structural calculation.

1) the details of the knots must be created first in robots for verification and then always by hand through an independent process in sd. but so does not the possibility of comparison between the two?
2) I saw this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-agjemcfhy where it would seem that inventor amounts to the creation module nodes from robots. I had never seen it and I knew nothing about it. is it commonly used? or is it some kind of hack difficult to replicate?

Hey, gil, did you see advance too? Since we are talking about carpentry, with him you would do everything (check nodes, import/export) with the same sw without ever going out.
