interconnecting bodies ansys

Hi, I'm a Franciscan student, I need a little help being at the very first weapons with ansys:
I designed a system that contains electrical cables with solidworks, now I have to do the modal analysis with ansys, but it happens that in the modal analysis with ansys the cables pass the surrounding surfaces, instead they should only "put on it". Can anyone explain why? I find that wb should automatically recognize the surfaces, does not occur in electrical cables?

for the rest we have to wait for some experienced ansys user. I only use ds in the structural field.
However, I don't think he automatically recognizes the surfaces, I think you have to say how the surfaces are and whether they have to compete or not.

what you say can't do with any simulation tool, in fact in modal analysis there can be no bodies that slam!
By the way, I don't think that using wb you will have great results with cables, better use the classic.

if you do not have to connect you have two roads:
- or yell at each other
- or do not yell
There can be nothing else.
It's still a "niche" request that probably requires a full course of ansys.
alternatively you have to read the manuals. I remember that when I did the thesis I had to study the manual, among other things not very well, of a software. zero assistance, academic license, zero assistance!
