interrupting overlapping quota lines

I haven't been using inventor for a while and have a couple of questions:

How do we eliminate overlaps of quota extension lines?
I made a m10x1.5 hole in the part, actually I wanted to make a m10 big step, is there any way to realize it? or should I change the drawing file settings?
