inventor 2009 and ribbon

hi, I happened to do a job with inventor 2009, I started with the 2010 version and therefore with ribbons.
Now if I wasn't mistaken there was an add-on for 2009 that allowed me to work with ribbons, is it true or am I mistaken? if it were true, please some of you could give me an idea how to do .
