inventor 2010 and post update

Good morning to all,
here in the company we are going to switch from inventor 2009 to version 2010.
with the occasion decided to update the machines.
4 ram giga will be installed, updated the processor and video card.
I have doubts about the last 2 points:
- as far as the processor is concerned, I have no idea if it is likely to switch to a quad core. specifically the choice goes to fall on an e8500 or a q9400.
- as a video card should be oriented on ati or nvidia? Specifically on a 4870 512mb or a 570 picture.

What do you recommend?

provided that if your machines were good with 2009, they would be good with 2010, especially with a clean installation (forming everything), I would say:
- in respect of ram, if you do not have a 64 system only 3 gb will be exploited;
- the trick with multi-core processors is that inventor only exploits one at a time, so with a dual core it will be able to exploit only 50% of the total potential, with a quad 25%;
- As for the video card, I would go on a nvidia, even if the ates I think are equally good... check if it is certified by the autodesk, then the choice depends on how much you want to spend.

you will install 64bit view.
At this point I believe we will turn towards the 8500.
almost certainly we will turn on a nvidia. I had always heard that the drivers for the modelers were bad, I'll be more informed.

my only machine that has problems has an uncertified ati card (it is a laptop with inv 2009 )
all the others have certified framework nvidia and have no problems.
