to get some variations of a machine, they provided me with files to be processed in inventor 2012.. .
in the files it makes wide use of the frame generator and most of the times I have no problem to modify geometries and dimensions.
problems arise with a frame for which the skeleton is not updated when the reference pattern is changed, with the result that the components are not adapted. Moreover, having custom profiles that I do not have in the library, I can see them but not to manually reposition them.
I could "reconstruct" or add a profile in the library, but in doing so I would risk losing references on a good number of already ready tables (not counting the constraints of together).
I would also avoid converting the frame into a simple set.
in a few words, what files can I ask to update my libraries and make them "identic" to those of the customer? I obviously don't talk about the center files contained (vites and various) that have already provided me. I think the problem is in library families.
ps: I installed 2012 only for this task, so I don't care to change the libraries or configurations. . .
pps: do you know if they still activate 2012? Now I started the 30gg test, but working with countdown scanned as well by the program (as well as by the customer) is not the maximum
