hi I just got the new pc and I'm trying this 2012. Does anyone know how to set the video card well and whether there are special/optimized drivers?
I've opened up a little bit of a little bit of a whirlwind, and I'm doing a beastly effort even just to turn it... I expected something more. I have a picture of 4000.

If you had xp you were probably on a 32bit.
already this, switch from 32 to 64, and from 3 to 16 giga of ram, would be enough to notice the difference in performance, regardless of the card.

I was with 32bit for that I couldn't handle more rams.

you should set windows so that it can allocate more than 2gb of ram to the single process
bcdedit /set increaseuserva 3072replace 3072 with the multiple of 1024 you want (for having 4, 5, 6gb...)

Well, on a simple piece or a simple set you can't see anything particular, but, in my experience, with big assemblies things change here from my old computer to the new one!

work with various software with assemblies with thousands of parts, nvidia 4000 + 24 ram, hp z400 , no problem
