inventor configurations

I am new with inventor, and I was wondering if it was possible to import the various configurations from another installation, I explain better:
in the company a colleague who has been using inventor for several years, has configured the software over time (paper, quotas, text, and everything...), now that we are in two, we would like to have the same configurations, so the most logical thing for me would be to "clonarle" from its installation.
I used for many years creo (ex pro\engineer) in a technical office where there were 5 stations, all with the same configurations of the software shared.

Yes, you can export/import program settings and documents, templates recommend you put them in a common folder (server?) and go fishing them from there.

to export the settings you use the command under "application options" "export" to the bottom right.
but first you should set the program properly. create a folder in the network that you peel, as a rule:

template
design data
library folder and sketch symbols
file center default content
folder projects

so that everyone works on the same starting content.
a project is usually created once and for each machine it is activated.

this in an indicative way, but in order to understand how to set it up, it would be necessary to understand preliminary how your system is structured, and to act accordingly. to not create problems later.

If you don't create a structure on the server, you have to pack and apply styles. but it is a wrong procedure that leads to a high rate of human error. or clone the hd and good night to the flower.
