I saw the file, it is not so, my is just a braid that then you have to bend, it is very difficult to explain.I'm sorry.
I try to attach a file to make you understand better

Good morning, it's a very similar but braided thing to the straight thread.Hello, do you mean such a structure attached?
if yes, it is obtainable with 2d sketches
Unfortunately it has a more recent version of my inventor and I cannot open its .ipt
hi, you are what I managed to create in an attempt to do it however for the note is not right.hi, I use I create and so I can't help you, but the last 2 screens attached represent what you managed to create with inventor?
because they seem different from the photo of the real object you posted in the opening post. .
I thank you again, I am trying to do it with the sketch in 3d, but any other advice is always well accepted.I remain of the idea that the only way, especially for that real plot, remains a very complex 3d sketch to realize, and understand on what plan to do repetition.
I understood that he had ''simplified'' by judging from cad.
Thank you for the answer. Here I am. Then I would do so: I would design the interweaving on a plane, so leaving in this priam phase the waveform. when I got the plot on the floor, I would use the command "full part", to get the undulations. It seems to me, from the drawings and images, that these "waves", are not synepatheids, but they are simply circle arches and therefore with the command "full part", you should be able to bend the plot made on the plane, giving it that wavy form. of course the command "full part" will have to be repeated several times to get a minimum number of undulations, enough to then serialize the whole. I'd say it shouldn't even be too complicated to do. Maybe you could draw the plot on the floor and then if you place the attached file I might even try to create the waves if I have time. or some other soul of good heart could realize them.
