Hello, everyone!
memore of last time, I first looked in existing threads but found nothing:confused:
So here is my question (I hope to make me understand. ..soever:
1)I imported a dwg file on which I find ground floor plant and first floor plant.
2) I created a level "ground floor", I set the height and created the walls that I needed.
3) I moved the dwg file in order to place the first floor plant in the correct position and I created a new level "first floor", I set the height and...
When I go to make the walls of the first floor, I still see the walls of the ground floor and I can't understand which lines to follow and which ones not.
My question is this...
is there a way to make a level invisible (in this case the one corresponding to the ground floor)?
or should I hide from the view the elements (in this case the walls of the ground floor)? because it doesn't seem very comfortable as what...
Thank you in advance for your attention. I hope I've managed to make me understand, otherwise, ask!
Thank you.

p.s. I forgot: work in revit architecture 2009

I hope I have understood the problem well... in view of the 1st floor- > ownership of the view- > under one.
I hope you're useful.
Bye.

hello! thank you but I had already tried with that operation...my problem is that I want to see a dwg file that is in a level placed at a lower altitude than the ground floor, but while I'm working on the first floor...in practice I'm okay to see everything that is below the level "first floor" except the ground level... a little like extinguishing a layer in autocad...I don't know if I managed to aspeigarmi!

then you should copy your dwg file to the first floor view in the location you need.. .

I closed the discussion and deleted part of the messages, following the clarifications had with ecathe. under pressure, stress and misunderstandings can happen to all, users and moderators. the important thing is to clarify the respective positions in a civil way.
