irregular solid creation - "free form" ?

Good morning, everyone. I find myself in difficulty in laying a relief of a wall.
I explain better: I have performed a 3d relief on a large irregular wall of stones, there are hollow areas and other concaves and various protrusions. I have to place a large screen in front and need to "see" the protrusions of the wall in question or still have solid wall conformation.
Starting from a flat face (a regular hypothetical wall) the function "free form" would allow me to deform the solid according to curves and points to add, it would be great if you let me place these curves and points by matching with the points of my relief. in practice this function lets you deform only by chance (as in all the tutorials I have seen) and in the online guide is explained really badly, omitting to specify how to coincide as above. I tried with the "surface delimitation" function but it is not the right function ...

hi pech, no, we do not have the automatic disto, is the poor version, a disto on a easel, connected to a tablet, I have to point it, then in the tablet it creates only a lattice of the points detected in dxf, the amount in solid and I have only the points detected with or without (I choose) lines of conjunction in 3d but nothing actual, in practice use only as reference!

at this point, if you connect points with 3d sketches and then create a surface (if you have 1000000 points is not the top), you can get the surface to you necessary. after creating this surface, create the other surfaces on the other planes by matching the surfaces to the surface obtained by disto. doing this then, you are able to use the function creates solid by selecting all the created surfaces.
