as above I find myself with stl accused by external scanners and importing them
in my cad to process them I find them head down then null. .
I can change the axis to me more consonant and save them in rhino and then I can
use????? Is there a command for all this?? ? ?

if you want to reposition the object compared to the reference boards you can move it with move (also dragging), wheel, possibly mirror if you find that the object is "inverted compared to axis...

in rhino uses the command _orient3pt

found in the transformation menu->orient->3 points

with this command you can orientate any object ( surfaces, mesh, curves) in space in any direction.

requires 3 initial points of reference (initial reference plan) and 3 final points (transformation plan)

The first time you make a little mess, but when you learn how to use it becomes an indispensable tool.

When I scan, I almost never get it space-oriented in the most useful way I do. This command allows me to place it as I want. :smile:

but not on the right axis....
