Hello everyone,
Is there a fast way to create the isometric view of a section? I remember that with inventor it was very easy enough to project an isometric view from the view in section, with solidworks it seems much more complicated unless you really cut the model. Do you have any advice?

Thank you.

after doing the section click the right view and select "view in the isometric section". the topic had already been treated several times, try to take a look with the search, had also been suggested another mode (if I don't remember badly cutting the model as hints in your post).

Hi.

hi m.engineering,
the other method is to do in the part or in the assembling the cut actually as processing, so to choose the components to be dissected and those not. You do a search that the solutions have posted them and there is also my image of this explanation.

thank you 1000,
I imagined there couldn't be no function! Big sw.

Hello, everyone.

hi raga is it possible to change orientation to 1 view in isometric section?
for example referring to the above post
orient the axis of the pump shaft that starts from below to left and head up to right of the sheet.

thanks to the collaboration

Some time ago there was in a post the link to a macro that creates 4 views by turning the axis of the view taken as "model". to understand us using an isometric view as a model the macro creates views: rearisometric, leftisometric, righisometric .
Unfortunately I don't know where to repeat the old discussion and the macro I don't have it.
However I often use it with solidworks2008 and I feel good.
the macro you should call isoview
I hope it was what you were looking for

I found the link where the macro is:http://sw.fcsuper.com/index.php?name=updownload&req=viewsdownload&sid=5the macro isoview :-)
