Hello, everyone.

today afternoon, after almost a couple of years, I had the "great" idea to update the drivers of my fx 1700 picture card... The problem is that now the 3d image appears to me all "seated" and I don't know how to fix it.

I saw that in the nvidia control panel there is a voice for global settings and a specific for the settings of the various applications, could someone please me list the best settings for inventor 2010? and in case, within inventor, is there any particular setting to apply?

I think so...

first I installed the package from 90 mb, I think the complete package.

after I tried to install the performance package driver for autocad 2010 (about 2.5 mb) but it gives me an error and says "setup was unable to find an installed version of autocad 2010. please make sure that autocad 2010 is installed and then run setup again"

I tried to modify the antialias that should be what causes sawing but nothing...... in inventor there is a way to change the image quality? ?

since you don't know if the driver is certified or not, check here http://www.inventor-certified.com/graphics/finddriver.php the driver version recommended by autodesk for your card and for your operating system and possibly install it if it is not what you have. download and install the database that will be proposed to you.
After that we see if the situation has improved.

So... .

the driver version is the one specified on autodesk
the database has been updated
Direct3d Graphic Hardware Diagnostic for this tab is ok
the display setting is on "very smooth" (but also on "rust" nothing changes... )

:frown::frown:

Have you tried on application options, hardware, use direct3d 10 graphic hardware?

Hi.

problem solved! :finger:

after hours spent by mail with those of the subscription center and having upgraded the drivers to version 182.46 (autodesk certificate), to version 197.28 (certificate nvidia), modified settings of each type (addition deactivating the multifunction bar  ), modified the boot.ini file for the 3gb switch and a tide of hardware diagnostic reports, eventually I arranged and did nothing but uninstall everything (including the 2010 autocad performance driver) and simply install version 178.26 of June 2008

now everything has returned to place:biggrin:

never more updates of the video card!
