Good day to all.
I wanted to know if any of you have experience or use items, or elements, of pdm solidworks.
if yes, for what purpose? where and when can they be useful? do not send me to the usual guide, I wanted concrete examples on their potential, if there were any.

pdms in general are very useful. I believe that online there are several videos and several articles about it. pdms make sense in offices where more people work in the same system. the advice I feel to give you is to address someone who has already had experience with pdms and not trust 100% of the advisors of the pdm software house. the first I installed in a company I did a little ahahahah.

I haven't tried the solidworks pdm yet. in general agree those of third parties so that it functions well not only the connection with solidworks but also with other sw for example office and pdf. pdm is not a simple archive of drawings but a real technical dossier of what you build.
