Good morning to all,
I just joined the forum and would like to ask for advice to the most experienced. I have finished university for about a year and perhaps with the mouth of finding work immediately I had an experience to say little unhappy in a company that produces packaging machines.

The only company that has responded to me produces automatic warehouses and handling systems for the transport of components (more or less heavy), all based on Cartesian (except special cases in which they operate on a contract). I don't know if it might interest me as a job, because compared to a machine tool/automatic I seem to be much simpler and scarce systems (where it is not required who knows what great design).as I stimulate more complex things I would not end in a few years to change again company/sector but I also admit my "ignorance" regarding the product (in the sense that they could be more complicated in line from believer).

So I address your opinion: according to you is a "stimulating" sector from that point of view?...I don't want to look arrogant, because I'm not at all it is just that I'm afraid to take another false step

if it is possible to know why unhappy experience in packaging, if there is a designally interesting sector is just that. Thank you.

There is so much of that engineering behind a wagon or a blast furnace system that you have very little to get bored.
However if you are practically without experience even if you only have to make drawings, without designing anything, for a year it would be all experience. and resume.
at least that you do not go to draw only plates with 4 holes, and it will not be so, every design will put you in conditions to ask explanations on many topics: roughness, tolerances, welding, thermal treatments, materials, processing, design choices and motivations.....
a frame without tolerances of 10/15 meters will hold you engaged for several hours or days.
And on the way you will also make pieces with tolerances and you will start chewing those too.
You have no idea how many graduates shoot millennial tolerances like confetti and the preventive piece 100 would cost 1000.

It is not so much a reason related to the product/sector, but also interesting. I did not find myself as good as the working environment. I had only a small experience of a few months (among other things very positive) in a company that produced machines for sheeting, and yet they claimed that, with very little support, in about 6 months I almost got to master orders independently, so realize that they could not prepare me in the short time and badly tolerate some error of inexperience they started to give me more and more dequalifications until I looked around.

Hopefully. In fact, the core business is represented by lifting, storage and handling systems (you also get to 15-metre frames as you said) . They told me that there is also a lot of vacuum technique behind (which I haven't had much way to deal with).
