I'm slowly approaching rhino and not forgetting I'm reading the internal guide: 1 level. Unfortunately it happens to me that when I have to load chair.3dm I charge everything fuoeche the jpg files that should be attached to the three floors for construction. I looked in the directory and the files are there. How can I put these files in? I am still with my studies and the nose are waiting for the manual to finish to entrust me with the design of a new module . . . . . the heat makes some bad jokes at a certain age!
I hope that someone will be able to give you a tip so that it can move forward with learning.
Thank you.

in a few words:

view > background bitmap > place

the game is done.
take into account that bitmap does not only refer to bmp file extension, bitmap, but to the bitmap or raster graphics, the opposite of the vector, then:

bmp, jpg, tiff, etc...

Thank you, thank you, tomorrow I try to check and surely it will be okay. I've seen you use rhino and then I'd like to ask you some things about it. starting from the first it is to know if the program is sufficiently practical to use as being approached only recently gives me the impression of being a little slender. my secondary purpose of use was to draw 3d of the fuselages of remote controlled gliders and then with finished design to obtain the sections of the ordered to pass to the cnc and to have these blessed ordered to be able to use to the construction of the dummy for the mold. to achieve this are sufficient boleanes? I guessed. ok the slicing boleane but then can I get these profiles individually?
this is the use for hobby.
As for a more sincere use, I would like to use it to convert the files of objects that pass my customers and that I should dress up and set with c4d. Obviously also be able to fix a little mesh in case of small inconveniences. Maybe I'm asking you too much but I'd like your opinion on these functions. not last consideration is whether it is worth to arrange to learn the program or it is more profitable to start with some course.

I learned rhino at university times, practically self-taught with online tutorials (which are now many more).
It's definitely a software easy enough to learn, even if a minimum of technical drawing knowledge takes us. I for example knew already to use well autocad 2d and a little 3d and I did not have great difficulty.
definitely to do what you need (alianti) is great. you can decide whether to work with solids or surfaces. I don't know your world well, but I think it's definitely better to use super chips.
you have all your control points and osnap that allow you to build perfect geometries that then you can certainly "slic" to get the files to pass to the cnc. Surely it takes a little bit of familiarity and several hours of exercise, but certainly rhino does for you.
other software, or are not sufficiently accurate in the construction of 3d (3d max studio, 4d cinema, maya, etc. those designed for cinema or 3d graphics), or are definitely too specific for other sectors, such as solidworks that could also do to your case but is more specific for the design of mechanical pieces, or software such as inventor, proe or catia, really complicated and little versatile.
I still find myself very well, especially after you understand how he thinks you will realize that it is really easy.

As for rendering with c4d, if customers already give you 3d geometries, rhino should not serve you, do everything from cinema, if instead you mean they give you 2d drawings made in autocad or by hand, yes it is perfect, amounts the eventual dwg that turns you the customer, models 3d in rhino and 3ds carry; cinema matters it as 3d and your textures aply.

Good job

Thanks for the answer. It's actually what I thought, but I needed confirmations that I gave. Unfortunately I do not have familiarity with the drawings and often and gladly I do not manage much and I would need a course at least basic. Unfortunately here in brescia I didn't find it and go to Milan I will become overmodo uncomfortable to follow then those full-immersion courses that when you get out you are convinced to know even more but how to access the keyboard who knows how to remember more nothing or worse you arise of insurmountable doubts.
Anyway, I'll see if I can do something.
Hi.

Hi, I had the same problem as Uncleclod, following the instructions of the cuff, I put the chair (even if I found out that the chair was but was not displayed, it only displayed the white rectangle, why?), tttavia, do not appear the shields of the chair in the perspective view as it should be seeing the guide, I only see the upper view, what should I do to view the rest of the pictures also in the perspective view?

thanks in advance.
