I created a key connection as an attachment but I can't delete that part of tree that is extra, can someone help me?

Extrude in the 2 senses, you did the sketch on a lower plane of the ø tree.
or return the tangent plan to the ø major and compensate for the difference between 2 ø in the depth of the cut.

It's for this and other similar reasons that I model the trees completely in ipt environment....probably I can't stand doing it together.

What they agree, certain "helps" should be ignored, they do more damage than anything.
however there is worse, nothing beats the " generator of frames ".
