the part imbuted "must welcome" another part and I would like the part of sheet metal circled to be without over material in the highlighted area.

Is there a way to make the part on the edge straight and not that obbrob I did?
In practice I would like to have no discontinuity as in my case

the one on the right seems normal for me to make a porcade since the sketch of the sting (green scrap in my image) comes out from the shape of the sheet (red disk)
regarding the general problem of the generation of that depression lacks the library file of punching. However fix discontinuity using the delete face command with the delete & patch option.
it doesn't make sense to do the sheet metal part if you then punch as the latter cannot be spread

I actually wanted to do everything in a couple of forms even if the forms are at least 3.
In summary you are suggesting to make shapes and then the different cuts to shape.

mine is a supposition, as is the one that maybe applies the various forming tools and eventually cuts the parts that you do not need. . .
but you understand that without the original file it is difficult to fix the best solution..
