hello to all, I have a problem, I can't come to the head; apparently it would seem simple (think) instead I am stuck.
I have to build a flat sheet of 1250x700 spes1; this sheet must be drilled with diam holes mm3.5, with step 6. trying to perform the "linear repetition" of a hole (or extruded cut) the prg nails and does not go any further. Is there another system to build it? Am I wrong? I have a work station. who can help me, thank you all in advance

of course that amount of holes very much engages the reconstruction of the particular, but it is not impossible.
to me it took a 30 seconds for the generation of the function and the reconstruction time is 20 seconds.
not knowing how you did the model you can not know if there are improvements to do.

workstation doesn't mean anything, it's like car fingers. I have a workstation at home that has about ten years of age, if I do this, he gets a coconut.

hello massive, first of all thanks to the answer; You're right that the amount of holes really commits reconstruction, but why don't my machines make it? are new and with them I manage great assemblies (at least 500 /550 part) , very strange !!! can I put you in attachment my file to try to rebuild it? Why do you manage your work like that?
you have a drilling function with the repeated circle 1980 times, some of these holes come out from the sheet and in the upper right corner 2 holes overlap, obviously all not completely defined.
the reconstruction time of the single function is 27 seconds while that of its sketch is 1 second which is an enormity for a sketch
and then you should also repeat the function for n times.... Of course it nails.

you make a single hole and then repeat the function of this only hole.
do not break repetition in multiple functions, but make one.

the sheet mode should be used only if there are bending and resulting development, not on a flat geometry like this; the sheet mode implies additional parameters that require updates and recalculations of geometry, also you have put the normal cut option in the cutting function that in this case does not serve anything.
drilling by removing the normal cut option the rebuilding time has passed from 27 seconds to 11.
