hello and good morning to all, I just started using inventor 2018 , I wanted to ask for advice on how to make a corrugated sheet.
I press that design in 2d as self-taught and I would like to learn 3d, I can do different things but I need to make drawings with the use of undulating sheets.
Can anyone help me? ?

thanks in advance. ...

can you post a 2d dwg file or a photo to understand what you mean by corrugated sheet?

Thank you.

good morning, sorry for the delay, I attach a file with the profile of the corrugated sheet that I generally use for the drawings of my plants.
I want to point out that I am self-taught, so I accept any criticism that helps me improve.
Thank you.

you just create a sketch with the sheet profile and extrude it.
Using i-parts you can also configure everything in various formats, then from time to time insert the sheet of the size that you need.

hi, I am trying, but : if I create profile and extrude it does not allow me to make holes on the surface, it takes me as selection only the part of the profile, if the profile sketch I make it become sheet.... in this case the thickness would be the length of the sheet, and I can make holes always only on the side of the profile... .

Maybe I don't understand. :-)

Natural that you don't take the sheet to make a sketch, it's not a plan.
create a building plan perpendicular to the holes you want to create, do the sketch on that and then use it to make holes.

Thank you, I tried and got the result I wanted, I chose the suitable material and the galvanization, now I can say it's quite easy
Now I'm quoting myself in the company to displace it so I can form the cylinder. Do you have any indication?
I attach photos of the result

I'm sorry, but I don't deal with sheet metal, I don't know the controls of this environment.

Good morning, to keep you informed. . .
Unfortunately what I got is not a sheet, it is an extruded profile that is not working as a sheet... .

I'll do more tests and let you know, if you have any other indications,

you need to create a 2d-profile sketch using the arc command_foto__068.webpwith the border flange command create the 3d and then run the series_foto__065.webpvia fx parameters I renamed the variables so that with little you can create other_foto__066.webpmust act on the k factor in the sheet style to calculate the correct development_foto__069.webpas regards the hori I have made an example; are to be done with the plane model through the command explains and folds
