landing gear tutorial

Hi, I'm supposed to make for a university project a landing gear.
I did several searches on the net, but the only tutorial I found is on youtube and is very basic.
someone has material or know particular sites should I find a tutorial of at least medium level?

Meanwhile, if it is a project, hardly youtube will help you. can be a starting point, but engineering is not learned with tutorials.
