Sorry about the new thread but I also have this problem... collaborating with other people I saw that they have solidworks 2005 while I on 2010... the problem is that obviously it does not open the files of 2010...

I was wondering if my employees can't import the functions no matter, but the important thing is that they can import the parts

I thought about the sat file... I have seen that it is a unique object.. .

the sat should work well knows swx to swx since acis is a dassault format. in theory the "official" interchange format is the step, try with both!

In theory, the best format is parasolid (x_t), if swx 2005 already used this kernel.
