level for dwg

I would have a doubt about revit, I almost always create a file revit from a dwg base, according to you it is more correct to put the dwg of each plan in which they are located, or to create a specific level called dwg?

the doubt had come to me because I put all the dwg on the ground floor not to waste time creating various dwg, but in this way when I looked at the dwg of the first floor below I also appeared the plant of the ground floor created cn revit.
therefore if I have well understood it is necessary to divide the dwg for plans, to put them in the corresponding planes and not to use the sublucent to look at the lower plant but simply recalcate the dwg in the plan
