Hello.
I have a question from "neophyte": Suppose I saved a pair of features, in my case an extruded cut of a hole and a curved repetition with a .I also inserted names to quotas and variables.
when I go to reuse these features in a new part, should the same variables or the same names I assigned in the source file be present? ...I hope I've been clear... thank you

I have never created library functions with variables, but in theory if variables are related to functions are imported into the new part.

Thanks for the answer.so, after several attempts, I managed to reuse my guided repetition (commanded by an equation) on a new part, only by exporting the equation from the source file (in txt) and then import it into the new part file. Basically, what I wanted to get was a function that would change the number of instances (in my case of the only hole) to vary.

you can insert in the library function a construction line that has the length of the edge as size.
the portion of the line, which you will use in the equation, can be managed at the time of inserting the library function: by inserting directly the value equal to the edge, or by binding the line and using a guided quota.

I tried. the problem is that when the feature amount, the system does not recalculate the number of instances in the guided repetition, but proposes the result of the equation obtained in the source file.

Why do you use a curved repetition and not a linear repetition?
What version of solid do you have? write it in profile thanks?
attach the file so that you do not have to recreate the functions with parameters other than yours
Did you do a ctrl+q? to update the part?

this means that giving a final reference (one edge, one face, one point) for the repeat distance spacing (maybe even the number of instances, I have no way to verify it) is adapted on it. in practice what you do with your equation
